What is Webforms?
Webform is the process of capturing the user and visitor’s information from your website into your CRM. It is an HTML form on your webpage that lets your website visitors enter their information.
You can create and customize code-free web forms from scratch and embed them in your website or email to capture all the valuable leads. Let’s discuss, “How to set up Webform in Krayin CRM? ”
Use of Web form in CRM :
Web forms can be used for:
- Receive online feedback
- Capture Visitors’s Information
- Communicate with the Website visitors
- Easy to conduct surveys
- Generate sales using webform
- Directly response to the users.
- Capture leads from social media
Note: You would able to see this new feature in our upcoming new release of Krayin CRM.
Creating the Webform in Krayin CRM:
To create a web form in Krayin CRM, first navigate to the Dashboard, then click on ‘Settings‘, where you’ll find the ‘Web Form‘ option.
Then click on ‘Web Form‘ to view the list of existing forms, if any have been created.
Click the “Create Webform” button at the top-right corner of the Webforms page to open the Webform Creation Form.
General section:
- Create Webform (Title): Enter a meaningful name for your form (e.g., “Product Inquiry Form”).
- Description: Provide a short description of the form’s purpose.
- Submit Button Label: Customise the label of the submit button (e.g., “Submit”, “Send Request”).
You have two options under the Submit Success Action section:
- 1. Display Custom Message: This will show a confirmation message on the screen. The message displayed will be the one you enter in the message input field.
- 2. Redirect to URL: This will automatically redirect the user to a specific webpage. The redirection will happen to the URL entered in the input box.
The “Create Lead” toggle button in the webform settings determines whether or not a form submission should automatically generate a lead in Krayin CRM—when enabled, each submission is stored as a lead record; when disabled, no lead is created from the submission.
Customise Webform: By using customization you can create the webform from scratch in Krayin CRM and you can use these web forms to effortlessly create, customize, and deploy forms on high-converting pages like sign-up, contact us, etc., without complex coding.
A self hosted CRM platform like Krayin, you can customize web forms with colors for background, titles, labels, and buttons.
- Background Color: Set the page background (e.g.,
#F7F8F9
).
- Form Background Color: Choose the color for the form container (e.g.,
#FFFFFF
).
- Form Title Color: Color of the form’s heading (e.g.,
#263238
).
- Submit Button Color: Customize the color of the form’s submit button (e.g.,
#0E90D9
).
- Attribute Label Color: Set the color for field labels (e.g.,
#546E7A
).
Add Form Attributes
Under the Attributes section, define what data you want to collect:
- Contact Number: Add a phone/contact number field.
- Name: Add a field for the user’s name (e.g., “Name (persons)”).
- Email: Include an email field (e.g., “Emails (persons)”).
Save the Webform
After completing all required fields and customisation:
- Scroll down and click the “Save Webform” button.
- Your new form will now be listed and ready to preview, edit, or embed.
Use of Filter in Webform: By using the filter you can easily find out your desired webform.
Edit and Delete the Webform :
Sometimes if you need to edit and delete the webform, you can perform those actions as well.
Use Web Form Code to Embed
To embed web form code :
You need to go to Dashboard –> setting –> WebForms –> Edit Web Form, click on Embed there.
After clicking on embed, one window will open now you have to fill in the Public URL and code snippet of the website as you can see in the below image.
Preview of Webform:
Here you can see the preview of the webform, for that you need to go to the Dashboard –> Settings –> WebForms –> Edit Web Form click on Preview.
