With an Open Source CRM like Krayin CRM, you can build the sales pipelines for your deal. A sales pipeline is the set of opportunities and actions that sellers leverage to close a deal.
The pipeline also refers to where prospects are in the purchasing process. Let’s discuss “How to build the sales pipeline in Krayin CRM?”
What is a Sales Pipeline?
Sales pipelines represent various stages where your sales reps can track the progress of leads. These stages may vary based on industry, but the typical structure remains consistent.
Common Sales Pipeline Stages
- Lead Generation
- Follow-up Lead
- Prospect Lead
- Negotiation of Lead
- Won / Lost Lead
Lead Generation
Lead generation is the process of capturing interest in a product or service to build the sales pipeline. A strong lead generation strategy ensures business growth.
Follow-up Lead
Lead follow-up is the process of reaching out to the lead who has enquired about your brand or services. There are various methods to follow up the leads, like call, email and schedule a meeting.
Prospect Lead
These are qualified leads who have entered the sales process and engaged in communication with your team.
Negotiation
Here, sales reps discuss pricing and services with the client to finalize the deal.
Won / Lost
This final stage records the outcome—whether the deal is successfully closed (won) or lost.

Rotting Days & Lead Status
Rotting Days: In Krayin CRM, leads age from their creation date. If not updated within a set period, they are marked as rotten, indicating reduced chances of conversion.
If a lead stays in the same stage beyond 30 days, it shows a red warning icon (⚠️), helping users quickly identify stale leads that need attention.
Filter Your Pipelines
You can search for pipelines by name and default status using the filter option.
Edit & Delete Pipelines
You can edit stage names, probabilities, or rotting days using the pencil icon. Deleting a pipeline will move its leads to the first stage of the default pipeline.
- If a pipeline is deleted, its leads are reassigned to the first stage of the default pipeline.
- If a stage is deleted, associated leads are moved to the new stage.
